Mardin’s authentic food dominating spices gives pleasure to palates Mardin has got rich kitchen and different delight dishes. Thin layer of dough is opened skillfully to cook delicious meal.

The abundance of pounded and boiled wheat is associated with lamb meat along history. Mardin’s selective foods are:

-Inner meatball which is round and contains meat and other delicious food

-Soup made of lentil

-Sembusek: It is baked made of thin dough layer skillfully opened, containing meat and other delicious food.

-Kýtelraha : It is made of wheat products, round and boiled in the water containing meat

-Dobo: made of lamb rump filled with almond seeds and rice

-Zerde: made of juicy sugar and rice

-Sucuk: made of grape juice and walnut, it is eaten after being desiccated.
