trade zone so close to Syria and
Iraq is active in Mardin are

Mardin.
Turkey has a rather
significant geographical
position as an outlet of Europe
in particular to the markets of
Middle East. As a border
province Mardin is close to
Syria, Iraq and Iran which gives
it a specific advantage.
Mardin’s labor force
potential, proximity to domestic
and foreign markets and
transportation facilities (road,
air and railway) are factors
making Mardin attractive for
investments.
The province is rich in
terms of its mines (both
underground and surface).
